Hello, I'm Ewan and I'd love to be your local guide when you visit Pembrokeshire and West Wales. I was raised in a small village called Eglwyswrw and I'm a native Welsh speaker. I've been lucky enough to guide visitors around Pembrokeshire and West Wales full time for the last 5 years. I live near the seaside town of Newport, which is only a 15 minute drive from the port of Fishguard. I was previously a Ranger for the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, so I have a real passion for the area and I'd love to share this with you. I'm often out on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, or up in the Preseli Hills exploring new routes. My tours provide a chance to see the major attractions sites in Pembrokeshire but I'll also make sure you get a "locals" feel too. Don't be surprised if I stop and talk to people in Welsh on our journey and I'll be sure to take you away from the large crowds so you get a real Welsh perspective of the area. All my tours are flexible, so please message me if you need to add or change anything. I will be only to pleased to customise a tour to meet your needs. I look forward to hearing from you! Diolch Wales Official Tour Guide Association (WOTGA) Green Badge Tourist Guide Mountain Training Association Lowland Leader HM Coastgaurd No restrictions apply to my guiding. I hire a driver & vehicle through VIP Wales for all my tours.

Voted several times by the guide books as the "Worlds Best Coastal Path", the Pembrokeshire Coast Path certainly delivers an abundance of beauty, scenery, wildlife, history, views and nature. Its no wonder why thousands of people visit Pembeokeshire just to walk either part of the 186 miles or all of it every year! On this walk you will be guided along some of the most dramatic parts of the National Trail, with stunning scenery, steep rugged cliffs, clear waters and golden sandy beaches. Having once been a Ranger for the National Park, I'll certainly be able to give you a detailed description of how the path was created and it's history.
• Meet at 9am with a walk briefing in Fishguard to discuss the weather, clothing, route and expectations. The coastal path is generally well maintained but is rough and steep in places. Appropriate walking footware is a must. There will be plenty of time during the day to take pictures and we will stop at a scenic spot to enjoy your picnic. • The mornings walk will be challenging in some places but the rewards at the end of the steep climb will be well worth it with stunning views. • In the afternoon the scenic walk along the path continues as we wind our way along the path, looking out for sea birds, seal. There are toilets at the half way point and at the end of the walk. There are cafes and ice cream shops at the end of the walk in Newport. • Total Length 18 km/ 11 miles A good level of fitness is required for hiking but there are also many options for less strenuous or shorter walks. Please send me a message and I can offer alternative routes or create a customized tour for your group size.
