I am a tour guide based in Moshi, Tanzania. I born and raised on slopes of mount Meru in Arusha a get way to the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire. Two Days Tour to Ngorongoro Crater from Moshi
Overview of your Moshi tour
This is a 100% private tour organised specifically for you! I have been guiding tourists in these destinations for 10 years and it's my suggestion for the clients interested with wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park are close to each other so it is very possible to visit both destinations in two days. Ngorongoro Crater formed when large volcano erupted and collapsed into itself to create a caldera. This is one of seven wonders of the world and the only place in Tanzania with the big five wild animals (Black rhino, Lion, Leopard, African Buffalo and Elephant). Approximately 40. 000 Maasai people are living in the crater with wild animals while depending on pastoralism as their economic activity. Tarangire National Park is well known for the largest concentration of Elephants than any other destination in Tanzania. In a small area of 2850 km2 there are migratory wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, gazelle, zebras, eland, etc. It has sparse vegetation strewn with baobab and acacia trees.

2 DAYS SUGGESTED SAFARI ITINERARY Day 1: Moshi to Tarangire National Park I will pick you at 08:00 AM (with packed lunch) and drive to Tarangire National Park, home of the largest herds of elephants in East Africa. Animal population here rivals that of the Serengeti so you will have a chance to see wildebeests, zebras, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, gerenuks, fringe eared Oryx, and flocks of birds of many different species. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue with afternoon game drive. Then drive to Karatu town for overnight. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater After early breakfast in the lodge, drive to Ngorongoro Crater with your packed lunch. It takes less than 30 mins before you reach Ngorongoro gate. Your guide will register the tour then you enter the gate to start your exploration. The Ngorongoro is one of seven wonders of the world and the only place to find the big five wildlife (Black Rhino, Elephant, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo) in Tanzania. Enjoy your day and drive to Arusha later.
