The city has many attractions to offer for tourists, including museums, house cultures, local markets, art galleries, and shopping malls. Alyos took us on a fabulous adventure in Dar es Salaam. First stop was at the museum. Then off to the fish market. This market was hugh and bustling with people. We even got into a nice conversation with some of the fishermen about there catch. Friendly people everywhere. We went outside city to see the ruins of the ancient ruler's burial sites and the Baobabs tree. It was Hugh. The history dated back to the 1700. A trip through the cities very busy shopping area was fun too. Aloys was great.

Aloys is an outstanding guide: knowledgeable, friendly, highly experienced, excellent use of English, and well-organized. He met us at the airport at 3am and on another day took us on a fascinating city tour. Our suitcase failed to come & he made an extra unpaid trip to the airport (90 minutes from his home!) to successfully secure our bag and save our vacation. Unbelievable visuals of both the Fish and the Kariakoo Markets. I was stunned by the mass of People and products. I got great videos. Also the National Museum was a great treat for me, since I am interested in Anthropology and Archaelogy. The History Lesson there was fantastic. I video taped all the Information cards for later reading. Aloys had great knowledge and guided me well. I would recommend his Tour to anyone.
