Overview of your Galle tour
Udawalawe National Park is the best place to see herds of wild Elephants throughout the year. During the Safari can be seen Water Buffalo, Wildboar, Jackal, Monkeys, Spotted Deer, Crocodiles, Jungle Cat, sloth bear. Udawalawe is also a good birdwatching place. you can observe Endemic and migrants birds and also good opportunities for photography. Elephant Transit Home was established in 1995 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation. They protect orphaned baby elephants and sick Elephants ultimate release them back to wild. you will see more than 90 baby elephants and observe them at feeding time from a viewing platform

You will be picked up at Galla port and travel to Udawalawe. The total travel (driving) time from Galle to Udawalawe National Park is approximately 4 hours. We will do Safari in Udawalawe national park by jeep about 3-4 hours. After Safari we will visit Elephant Transit home in Udawalawe. This tour will be best opportunity to explore Asian Elephants You will get a good experience of wildlife in Sri Lanka at the end of this tour. We travel in good condition car from Galle to Galle. Water bottles are available during the Tour.
