Bundala Bird Watching Tour
Overview of your Galle tour
Bundala National park is located about fifteen kilometers from Hambantota. The park is home to many migratory waterbirds. About 197 bird species have been recorded here. If you are a Birder, Bundala is one of the best choices. During September and March, migrant birds arrive to Bundala National Park. The park offers good opportunities to explore the wildlife in Sri Lanka. climate can be mostly hot and dry. The terrain is flat and mainly consists of scrublands and lagoons. Bundala National Park is also home very few populations of elephants (between 15 and 60). during the safari can be seen also water-buffalo, bears, deer, giant squirrels and lots of crocodiles.

You will be picked up at Galle port andwe will travel to Bundala by good condition car. It takes about 3 hours to travel there. After we arrive to Bundala, we will get on the safari jeep at the entrance of park. You can enjoy your safari tour about 3-4 hours. When we come back to Galle , You can visit optional Fishing Harbour and Botanical Garden in Hambantota.
