Yala National Park is the most popular and most visited national park in Sri Lanka and 2nd largest National Park in the island. I offer private Safari Tours in Yala. You will see during the tour wild boars, sloth bears, deer, Water Buffalos, monkeys and above 215 of bird species. Yala is one of leopards paradise and The largest concentration of Leopards can be seen in this park. Yala Park is located in the dry-zone region and also border of Indian Ocean. The average temperature is over 30 degrees in the day time. When we enter the park, we can see many salt plans. Palatupana has been identified as a famous dry zone area for salt production. The parkland consists of scrub jungles, lakes, lagoons, rivers. 125 species of birds, many reptiles and 32 species of mammals have been recorded in Yala park.
Your Galle tour itinerary
You will be picked up at the Galle Port and travel to Yala National Park by good condition car. We will get on to the Jeep at the entrance of park and do about 3 Hours Safari. Travel duration will be about 4 hours from Galle Port to Yala. During the safari we will have a stop at the border of the Indian ocean and have a short walk along the beach. when we travel direction to Yala, you can see many salt lagoons. when we come back Galle, it is possible to visit Tissa Temple.
