Welcome to My Page! AYUBOWAN! A warm Sri Lankan greeting to you! My name is Suneth, and I am delighted to share my story with you. I value honesty, humility, and staying grounded. Born and raised in Colombo, the bustling commercial capital of Sri Lanka, my journey has been shaped by rich experiences and deep connections to the heart of our beautiful island. I pursued my education up to the advanced level at a prestigious school in Colombo. After completing my A/L exams, life took an exciting turn when I received a scholarship to study in Japan. I spent six transformative years at a university there, honing my skills and broadening my horizons. Returning to Sri Lanka, I embarked on a new adventure by enrolling in a training course for National Tour Guide Lecturers, conducted by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA). After successfully passing all the exams, I earned my license as a tour guide, empowering me to showcase the wonders of Sri Lanka to visitors from across the globe. Sri Lanka holds a special place in my heart. I am immensely proud of our rich cultural heritage, deep-rooted faith, and breathtaking natural beauty. From ancient monuments and the wisdom of Lord Buddha to the shimmering blue waters and golden beaches, our island offers an irresistible charm. The lush interiors, teeming with vibrant wildlife, add to the allure. What more could one ask for? It is my joy and privilege to invite you to explore this paradise with me and immerse yourself in everything that makes Sri Lanka extraordinary. Over nearly 25 years, my career has been a source of immense personal growth and fulfillment. Meeting and escorting individuals from diverse cultures and countries has not only enriched my understanding but also sparked a curiosity about the broader world. Each encounter has been a stepping stone to further learning and discovery. Academic Qualifications in Tourism • Registration # NTGL-0701: National Tourist Guide Lecturer certified by SLTDA since 1998. • OTHM Higher Diploma: Graduated in Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality Management in London, 2007. • Ornithologist: Professional certification as a member of the Ornithology Group of Colombo University, lifetime membership since 2010. • Gemologist: Certified Gemologist by the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewelry Authority. Let me guide you through the treasures of Sri Lanka, sharing its history, culture, and natural wonders. Together, we will create unforgettable memories. Welcome to my world, and let's embark on this journey of discovery!
