Having discovered my passion for bush life at an early age, I set about living that dream! As soon as I could I enrolled in academic, vocational, and practical work to gain extensive qualifications (plus over 10 years in the guiding industry!) and have worked hard to build a wealth of knowledge and personal experiences that I love to share with my guests. Spending time out and about in the bushveld means every day is different! The thrill is, that you never know what you will encounter or discover until you come across it, be it hippos, zebra, dung beetles, a rare plant species or an endemic bird. This is what makes me so passionate about the tours I offer and the experience my guests receive whilst we spend time together exploring. I spend my days out and about in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park or nearby Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park looking for more than just the well-known wildlife! The South African bushveld is simply fascinating! My home is in a small coastal town, St Lucia, uniquely situated within a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, on the northeastern coast of South Africa. It is a haven for wildlife, marine life and unique flora and small fauna. With a focus on the wildlife, all of the tours I offer give my guests an insight into all creatures, great and small, and you will be surprised how interesting the bushveld can actually be!
