I am so happy that we booked a tour with Sharif then going on our own. He was attentive and knowledgeable. He took his time to show and explain the cultural and business of falconry. This time of year is the end of the season but we were able to witness a young man purchase a falcon. Watch a gentleman make the handmade leather head covers. We were even lucky to hear some of the local breeders talk about the future of falconry. The timing of the tour is perfect- my 17y/o son had plenty of time with the falcons as did I.
What a fascinating morning we spent with Sharif He really knew what he was talking about and was very respectful. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to learn about the Qatari tradition of Falcon hunting
