Overview of your Doha tour
Emerging Sand Dunes & impressive Inland Sea or Khor Al Adaid, a UNESCO recognized site, you get to mesmerized see one of the few places in the world where the sea encroaches into the desert. The desert is anything but beige and blue. Driving and Diving with a 4x4 car will get your adrenaline level up keeping a superb memory for the rest of life. Sealine Beach is where Desert starts and the last point before we go off road. Stopping at sealine to enjoy the camel ride, a cup of tea and see the cultural tent setup meanwhile I'll deflate car tires and prepare it for dune bashing. At Camel Stop you will see many camels dressed in cultural styles; everyone is enjoying a camel ride and clicking wonderful photos. The ponies out there will be kids favorite. Off we go!

We took the desert safari and camel ride out of Doha. Ilyas was a very experienced driver in the sand dunes. The sand is so very fine I was amazed. Up and down the dunes till we reached the sea. After we took a short camel ride. After was a trip back to the city and a stop at the Harley Davidson store for a T Shirt. Great day with IIyas.

The southern desert of Qatar is not as beautiful as other deserts we've visited - it has a lot of camp sites, litter, and tire tracks from many people offroading - but it was a nice ride to see where the desert meets the gulf, and we rode some camels for about 10 minutes in a stand by the side of the road. If you have ridden camels elsewhere or explored other deserts, it is far less spectacular, but maybe still has some interest. Ilyas did a good job with the off-roading and we felt safe.
