Doha Discovery Guided Tour: Unveiling Traditions and Modernity

A great tour tailored to our needs and timing. Mubasshir was very informative, friendly and solicitous of our interests and needs. I recommend him without reservation as a guide. We could not have been happier.

This tour was excellent and Mubasshir Ali Naqvi made it so. He is a wealth of knowledge and a very friendly and easy going young man. He taught us a lot about the history of Doha and how it has changed over the years. He allowed us to adjust the itinerary to suit our needs and always dropped us off right at the front of the site we were visiting and went and parked the car, then coming back to meet us. He also collected the car without us having to make the trek back too. Best of all, at one point we deviated from the tour and found a Cat cafe and stayed for a while. I messaged Mubi to ask him if we could be half an hour, and he did not stress one bit and just told me to stay as long as we wanted and just text again when we needed him. He was really excellent.

It was a great tour with Ali, who made the best thats possible within 4-4.5 hours. Beside seeing lot of beautiful and interestimg places, we also learned a lot about the history, the culture, the city itself and the heartbeat of Doha (and Lusail). I highly recommend this trip to get a fast insight of Doha. Thanks Ali

Communication with Mubi was prompt and easy. His vehicle was clean and comfortable, and he is an attentive driver. He explained his plan for the afternoon as we set out. He is very knowledgeable and did a great job describing the history and culture of the city, and the country. We toured the souk and old Doha, enjoyed a dhow ride, then visited Katara Cultural Village and Pearl Island. Timing was great and we never felt rushed. He is also a great photographer!

We scheduled a few nights in Doha on our way back to the US from the Maldives. We knew that it would be a unique experience and allow us to see a part of the world that we'd never seen, but to say that we were blown away by the beauty and culture would be a gross understatement. Mubasshir met us at the airport when we arrived, transported us to our hotel for some rest, and then picked us up later that afternoon to tour the city and the marketplace. He had excellent English and a great knowledge base of the area and culture. His vehicle was clean and comfortable. He had a plan for showing us the city but was extremely flexible when we wanted to take extra time or expressed an interest in something else. Highly recommend this destination and this guide!

Fantastic driving tour all around the city. He spent a lot of time explaining all the different areas of town. We also learned about all the unique buildings in the downtown skyline. Very safe driver. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good look at Doha and the activities it has to offer
