Doha Nights & Lights , illuminating and glittering city views..

I had 3 tours with Ilyas in Doha. He was very flexible and provided my daughter and myself with tours suited to our wishes. He was easy to travel with, very attentive, and interesting to converse with.

I had approximately 16 hour layover starting at 6pm until 10am. I was worried I would not see very much due to the lateness of starting the tour. However, Ilyas did a great job making sure I saw lots of things without feeling rushed. Great conversation with Ilyas! Learned so much about the culture and experienced different games, food, drinks in such as short time. Added bonus took a boat ride to see the skyline. Getting through security to leave the airport and return was extremely easy. Would definitely plan another layover next time I'm flying through!

Our night tour took us around the city and back to the old souq to see it at night. It was busy and fascinating. We tried local food from locals that setup right in the souq area. Truly local cuisine. A visit to the newer shopping area and ride on the tram was fun. Our trip to the modern mall that was unreal as the shopping area had a large fountain in the center and had a show with music. Upscale shopping here for sure. At last was a view of the skyline at night. A wonderful time at night in Doha

We took 5 tours with Ilyas in Qatar, and this was the best one - Doha is beautiful at night and he took us to all the sites we asked to see. The timing wasn't great - since it was a night tour, we were worried the falcon souq would close by the time we got there, and suggested we go there first before driving up to Katara Village and the Pearl, but we stuck to Ilyas' plan, and indeed, the falcon souq closed the second we arrived.

This is 1 of 3 tours with Ilyas. All were great. He did an amazing job, flexible and accommodating. Great discussions getting to know each other and allowing me to gain so much more of an understanding about the country and the culture. He was so generous with his time. I feel like we saw and did just about everything. I highly recommend him! By the way, You'll love Doha at night!
