My name is Adnan. I am an Omani national and 37 years old. I grew up near Salalah in a small village high in the Dhofar Mountains surrounded by so many historic ancient sites and such dramatic scenery. With my excellent English and in-depth local knowledge, I decided to train to become a guide. After achieving my Tour Guide License of the Sultanate of Oman, issued by Ministry of Tourism, I have been leading small group tours for over 10 years. My passion is sharing my fantastic province with tourists and visitors who travel to my beautiful country. I believe that I have the ability to provide all information which my guests may require, from the UNESCO world heritage sites, the best mountain lookouts, hidden beaches and unique local flora and birdlife. I am an active guide and pride myself on my ability to add personal touches to every tour I conduct. It's very much an interactive experience, as it's rare that I conduct a tour without learning some new aspect or knowledge that I can share in the future. I attempt to structure my full day tours to ensure we are in the best spots with the best light for my guests who enjoy photography. It is extremely important to me that my guests return home with experiences to remember, and my feedback is invariably positive. I have a late-model Toyota Landcruiser ideal for conveying small groups of up to 4 in comfort and safety. My guests often remark favorably on my sensible driving, a result of practicing defensive driving at all times. Perhaps the most diverse nation in the Middle East, Oman provides a rich mix of nature, history and culture. In addition to its growing reputation as a premium beach resort destination, Oman is also a great option for activity and adventure with its idyllic beaches, lush Wadis and wide desert sands offering an outstanding range of activities and sights. It is said that the friendliness and hospitality of my home country has impacted the trips of many tourists and has made their visits unforgettable. I'm glad you read my Bio. Overview of your Salalah tour

You drive through the picturesque landscapes and Jabali villages, where herds of camels and cattle are common sights and give an additional beauty to the charming view. Visit the old grave of the "prophet Job", located in the beautiful green mountains of the Salalah plain. Find out more about the legendary story of the Prophet and his piety. Next, you head west, to the only road that leads from Salalah to Yemen. Stop at the beach of Mughsail, where the white sand touches the deep blue of the Indian Ocean. Here you can marvel at the natural seawater fountains at high tide, which are also known as "blowholes". Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere overlooking the sea and the sound of the waves, which is amplified by the Marneef cave. You will also get a chance to see the frankincense Trees in the wadi.

Adnan was the perfect guide and host. I had some unusual requests and he made every one of my requests happen. We were able to tour some of the highlights in Salalah. He arranged a boat for me to visit Kor Kharfot. This was a great experience. We had a memorable fish dinner at a local restaurant. He even helped me obtain a required COVID test prior to flying to Doha. It was a short visit to Salalah but was an outstanding and memorable time. Great personality and guide. Highly recommended.

Booking two tours with Adnan, was the best thing we could have done to learn about our host country.
