The tour we took with Hamid through the sights of Salalah was wonderful. Hamid is very well known and well connected in all the local places, and we were welcomed everywhere with great friendliness and hospitality. We especially enjoyed the visit to the market in Salalah. Hamid speaks perfect English, and we felt well taken care of and warmly looked after from the beginning to the end of the tour.
Hamid is a lovely person with excellent English and very punctual. He made a wonderful tailored tour for us to the ancient village of Adam on the Silk Road. We also visited the Across the Ages in Oman Museum which is outstanding. He provided a brand new saloon car. He is fun to journey with and really gives you a flavour of life in Oman.
Our full day tour of West Salalah with Hamid was fantastic. Our small group really enjoyed the stunning Mughsail Beach and experienced the seawater from the blowholes. Hamid also showed us some of his favorite photo spots there so we got in some fun pictures. We also made another photo stop at a hidden beach area, which felt like a secret gem and were even greeted by a heard of goats. Hamid also taught about the frankincense trees even let us touch, smell, and taste the sap! Driving up the Qamar Mountains to Fazayah Beach was also breathtaking and we ended the day with a swim. All in all, it was a 5 star day and an incredible way to end our short trip to Salalah. We can't wait to come back during the Khareef season to book another tour with Hamid!
We had the absolute best time in our full-day tour of Salalah and beautiful surroundings with our trusty guide Abu Hamza, who picked us up from our hotel promptly and had prepared a full detailed itinerary of exciting and educational activities. Our guide abu Hamza was friendly, warm, knowledgeable and welcoming, and was equally comfortable with both English and Arabic. I HIGHLY recommended both the tour and our guide. This was a truly memorable experience! FIVE STARS all the way.
Hamid was excellent...he arrived timely, was courteous and extremely knowledgeable about Salalah. He whisked us off to the Mosque immediately as it was closing...only 6 of us were timely enough to visit the interior. Next we visited the city market...it was so organized (and your selection is prepared, should you wish). We were then treated to the History and Maritime ....we appreciated the seafaring nature of Oman people..lastly we visited a nature area in the hills of the city...a lovely view w/trail!!!
A super best guide. Will adjust your tour to what you want. Try the local restaurant with great roasted chicken... even had camel meat, sort of like tough beef. Use Hamid and it will be an enjoyable tour. 5 stars

Central Market (60 min) Next, we step into the lively heart of Salalah at the Central Market. Here you will experience the colors, scents, and energy of local life—spices, fruits, and everyday trading culture. Al-Hafa Souq (45 min) We continue to the famous Al-Hafa Souq, where you can explore stalls filled with frankincense, traditional crafts, oud, and authentic Omani souvenirs in a historic setting. Al Baleed Archaeological Park & Museum (60 min) I will guide you through the ancient ruins of Al Baleed, a UNESCO site, where maritime history and the story of the frankincense trade come alive in the museum and open-air site. Dahariz Lagoon (35 min) We end the tour at the peaceful lagoon, a natural haven for migratory birds such as flamingos and ibis—perfect for photography and relaxation.
