Overview of your Alesund tour

Let me to invite you to an amazing city tour. I will take you through the town center. The town has an unusually architecture — Art Nouveau. Most of these colorful houses have been built between 1904 and 1907, after the fire which destroyed whole city in January 1904. You will listen story from ancient ages to the modern life Norwegians. Many miracle secrets will be uncovered during this trip. Be curious, ask the questions! You will find out what to do in the town, where to eat, best prices for shopping etc.

Some roadways in our town are quite steep, but I adjust rout according to physical form of my guests. We walk along streets: Skateflukaia, Kongens gate, the narrowest house in the town, St. Olavplass, Hellebrua with view to Sea Venice, Svaneapoteket, Fortresses and spires in Bakkegata, Old wodden building in Molovegen, Town Hall, Marketplace - Kipervikstorget, the town park.

I will meet my tourista on the square near Råd Hus/ Town Hall, Keiser Wilhelms street 11. The Town Hall is the tallest, modern building in Ålesund, and we meet on the square near the statue of Joachim Rønneberg, it is 5 minutes walk from the ships. To get to the square from the ship, you need to cross the road via an underground passage.
