Hi - my name is Chris; I would love to take you on a tour around Napier & Hawke's Bay in our modern luxury European vehicles. I have had a long passion for travel & the tourism industry. I've traveled extensively during my 20's in Australia, Asia, North America and Europe where I tour guided on the canal boats in France. In 2002 I meet my wife, who is from Hawke's Bay and in 2003 we moved there from Auckland to start a family and immerse ourselves into the region we now call home. I want to share the wonderful Hawke's Bay experience with you and your friends. It really is a most beautiful and diverse place! My aim is to provide a luxury tour experience along with customised tour & transfer options that you'll want to share with your family and friends. Our luxury European vehicles are air conditioned for superior comfort and complementary chilled water is provided. Experience a unique taste of Hawke's Bay wine, art, history, views and more. Explore the famous Art Deco City, Napier and discover how the region recovered from the 1931 earthquake. Stop at the famous National Tobacco Company Building, the most photographed Art Deco façade in New Zealand. Wander through the expansive gardens and admire the art while enjoying Devonshire Tea at Birdwood's Gallery/Café. Visit two Hawkes Bay award winning vineyards for wine tastings, one of which is Craggy Range, Hawkes Bay's iconic winery producing world class wines. Sample six of Craggy Range's current release wines from the Family collection alongside their Prestige Collection wine, Sophia. Then we get off the beaten track and drive through the stunning Tuki Tuki River Valley passing by beautiful rural homesteads, orchards and vineyards on our return to Napier.

We had a great day with Chris. Our ship's tender schedule was adjusted just prior to us arriving and Chris was able to adjust our schedule for the day to accommodate a little later start and a little earlier return. We visited Birdswood Cafe, Craggy Range and Church Road. All three spots were great and we would recommend them to others visiting the area. Chris was a great guide for the day. He clearly knows the area, the wineries and many of the people. We enjoyed just catching up with I'm in general between stops on the way. Thanks Chris!

Napier is a beautiful town and Chris took us to several out-of-the-way places that the big tour groups never see. It was just my wife and I on the tour with Chris, he was a lot of fun to be with and very informative. He took us to a wonderful wine tasting at Craggy Range Winery complete with cheese and snacks. The whole day felt comfortable and not rushed. We would recommend spending a day with Chris.

We had a wonderful day with Chris. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and FUN !!! We had a wonderful tour of the country and then went to the most beautiful winery and finished with a fun pub stop. The "Napier City and Taste of Hawke's Bay Wine Country Tour" begins with a personal pick from your location. Drive through Napier City and discover how the region recovered from the 1931 earthquake. Stop at the famous National Tobacco Company Building, the most photographed Art Deco façade in New Zealand. Visit one of Hawke's Bay's most awarded wineries that offers the complete winery experience. We then carry onto Birdwood's Gallery/Café via the famous "Gimblett Gravels" wine country. Wander through the expansive gardens and admire the art while enjoying Devonshire Tea at Birdwood's Gallery/Café. Visit Craggy Range and sample six of their current release wines from the Family Collection alongside their Prestige Collection wine, Sophia and take in the view of the spectacular Te Mata Peak. On our return to Napier we will travel along the picturesque Tuki Tuki River Valley. NOTE - Wineries are subject to availability at the time of booking and maybe substituted for an alternative option.
