Trip to Akchour

I come from a family deeply rooted in Moroccan craftsmanship and artistic tradition. Growing up, I was surrounded by artisans whose work reflected patience, creativity, and pride in cultural heritage. My father, a respected Zellij maalem, introduced me at an early age to the intricate world of Moroccan mosaic art. During summer school holidays, I worked alongside him, learning not only the techniques of craftsmanship but also the values of dedication, hospitality, and attention to detail. Those early experiences shaped the person I am today and inspired my lifelong passion for creating meaningful experiences for others. For more than 16 years, I have worked in tourism, specializing in cultural, historical, and culinary experiences across Morocco. Throughout my journey, I have had the pleasure of welcoming travelers from around the world and sharing with them the richness, diversity, and authenticity of Moroccan life. I enjoy connecting people with the stories behind the medinas, the traditions behind the food, and the human experiences that make every destination unique. My approach to hosting and guiding is personal, warm, and open-minded. I believe travel is not only about visiting places, but also about understanding people, traditions, and perspectives. Whether exploring ancient history, discovering local craftsmanship, tasting regional cuisine, or discussing Morocco’s evolving future, I enjoy creating experiences that are genuine, thoughtful, and memorable. Beyond tourism, I remain passionate about culture, design, storytelling, and human connection. I take pride in helping visitors experience Morocco beyond the surface and leave with a deeper appreciation for its heritage, creativity, and everyday life.
