At the Yucatan Peninsula, we have beautiful places to visit like the archeological site of Chichen Itza which is one of the most visited sites today and considered one of the new 7 wonders of the world - always amazing and impressive, another beautiful archeological site surrounded by nature is Ek Balam where is still possible to climb some of the Mayan temples; and if you want to visit a natural place, Rio Lagartos can be a very good option where is possible to observe a lot of animals and different birds from the area, but also birds that migrate from different regions at the different seasons. You can also find beautiful cenotes (natural caves with underground rivers) where you can swim in the fresh and clear waters, and also visit beautiful colonial cities like Valladolid and Izamal, with beautiful churches and interesting history.
