My name is Tomas A licensed tour guide by the federal government of the country of Mexico with a background of being a native Zapotec from the state of Oaxaca. I started as a tour guide in 2010 in Bahias de Huatulco, located in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico right of the coastline of the Pacific ocean. I have spent the last five years scouting and creating unique experiences in the heart of Huatulco to ensure that your trip will be unforgettable. My experiences promote educational, cultural, rural and sustainable tourism as well as generate economic opportunity for the people of the region in which I work. My outings are not tours in the traditional sense but rather a day with a unique experience on the beach, waterfalls, turtle sanctuary or in the rural community. I offer to my clients an insider's view of Oaxaca, as a native Zapotec from Teotitlan del Valle who is also a certified professional tour guide. I combine my knowledge of history, culture and local communities with a deep respect for my Zapotec heritage and traditions. I bring to my clients closer to the real Oaxaca and I love sharing my personal perspective with them on trips through Bahias de Huatulco and local destinations in the cost line of Oaxaca state and in the central valley. Overview of your Huatulco tour
Come experience the scenic drive through the Sierra Madre mountains as we wind our way through some of the most scenic views near Huatulco. As we move up the mountain, we have a wonderful little shopping town that you will get to experience some culture and maybe a souvenir or two. Our culture will captivate you with some of the most wonderful people you will see along the way. When we reach the coffee plantation, we will see first hand how the coffee is grown, and the many steps it takes to make coffee known in our area for being the best there is. We can eat a meal which is prepared by the family of the plantation. Delicious from the first bite to the last. When we are finished with the coffee tour, and we make our way back down the mountain, there is a magical place I like to visit. Lovingly known as the Orchid house, the plants that are grown here are breathtakingly beautiful. You will be mesmerized. Please take this opportunity for a truly Amazing Mountain Coffee Experience.

we loved Tomas. Fabulous tour and lots of information. the tour surpassed our imagination. the road to the coffee plantation was an adventured, but what memories. i would highly recommend Tomas to anyone on any tour he gives. his English is excellent and extremely easy to understand. we are considering going back to Huatulco be of Tomas.

I asked Tomas to change the tour from coffee plantation to a tour of weaving exhibitions. It turns out he is part of a family of weavers. He explained the wool from specific sheep and showed us how to make dyes. We went to his brother's store with many examples of beautiful carpets and wall hangings. Best of all he took us to a simple restaurant on the beach. We had delicious tacos and nachos which we all shared. Tomas has a wonderful personality and lots of information about textiles. Nice man!
