My name is Charlène, and I'm your tour guide in Martinique, the island that has captured my heart for the past six years. I am very passionate about my work, and enjoy creating friendly and welcoming experiences that generate authentic memories. I guarantee I will take the proper time to offer you an immersive experience in each place we visit, so you can fully get immersed in Martinique's beauty. I am convinced that we all ultimately share a common ground: a shared appreciation for the beauty and diversity of nature... and I find it very moving to see how this simple connection bring people together. This island has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, and I'm certain that it will enchant you such as it bewitched me. My greatest pleasure is seeing my visitors' eyes light up when I expose them to the breathtaking scenery and vibrant Creole culture of Martinique, and noting how surprised and happy people go back home after their visit. Sharing with travellers from all walks of life is what motivates me most. In my comfortable van, I will take you to discover magnificent landscapes, lush nature and all the little local wonders that make this island so unique. I would be happy to tailor itineraries to suit your needs, interests, and of course physical abilities, so you can enjoy the experience at your own pace. I’ll be readily available to assist you even underwater in snorkelling sessions! Whatever your preferences, I'll always strive to deliver a special day that remains etched in your memory.

Let's travel along a legendary road that crosses Martinique from its very centre all the way to Mount Pelée, from where we'll see both sides of the island (plus the Atlantic Ocean & the Caribbean Sea!) Bordered by lush vegetation between giant ferns, majestic trees & light mists that sometimes envelop the peaks, this road is a glorious entrance to the riches of the North Caribbean. From walking on volcanic ground, to trekking through rainforest & swimming in waterfalls, this tour offers an array of activities. I have repeatedly taken Wilderness First Aid training, so rest assured you'd be in very good hands exploring with me. But besides the scenic natural sights, we'll also visit a distillery that produces one of the best rums on earth, and we could even pass by a great restaurant with a beautiful garden, where you could taste delicious Creole flavours. Additionally, we'll stop by the Caribbean Sacre Coeur which is identical to the one in Paris, but smaller. Join me for a memorable day of exploration!
-We’ll first go across rain forest, along Route de la Trace, towards the Lady Pelée volcano. -We'll then stop by Balata Sacré-Coeur. -As we continue driving, we'll do a few different stops to see Hot Springs & waterfalls (to either contemplate them from a bridge above, or descend a few steps if you want to swim!) -We could also go on a trail into the rain forest. Some activities require a certain level of physicality, so if you'd prefer something more relaxed, we could visit a beautiful botanical garden instead. -At the end of Route de la Trace, we'd reach the volcano, which we'll contemplate from a high panoramic viewpoint. -Depending on your appetite, we’d stop by the restaurant before or after the volcano visit. -We'll start driving back to Fort-de-France, but taking a different route, to pass through the historic city of Saint-Pierre, which has ruins of a bygone era that we'll explore together. -Our last stop will be in a local distillery so you can taste Martinique rum before being dropped off.
