Martinique Earth & Sea - Shore Excursion with Snorkelling Session

On this island adventure, I'll guide you on a snorkelling session in a charming fishing village with translucent waters where the seabed reveals all its abundance & diversity. Visiting Les Anses d'Arlet is like entering a postcard that came to life; it's famous for its colourful boats, its iconic church behind a wharf & its amazing underwater richness, which we'll contemplate firsthand. But that won't be our only close encounter with nature, since we'll visit Anse Dufour too; a small cove renowned for its sea turtles! Observing these majestic creatures moving freely is a rare gift, a moment of magic. I'll also take you to a little city named after its famous Diamond Rock, a true geological gem overlooking turquoise waters. But don't let this beautiful colour fool you: you'll quickly discover how rough the sea is there! But we'll also look back on the island's history by seeing a poignant monument commemorating the 150th anniversary of the abolition of slavery in Martinique.

-After picking you up, we'll depart from Fort-de-France, taking the main road towards the south. -Next, we'll arrive at Le Diamant, where we'll observe its eponymous Diamond Rock from a local wharf. -A five min drive will then lead us to the Cap 110 Memorial, where I'll evoque the island's troubling colonial past. -Once there, you'll notice how the white silhouettes of the statues invite you to a moment of reflection and contemplation, in the heart of a site steeped in history and emotion. -Later, we'll continue our journey along a beautiful country road towards the cute little fisher village of Les Anses d'Arlet. -If you got hungry, I could take you to a local restaurant here or later on. -On arrival, you'll dive in for an unforgettable snorkelling session among tropical fish! -After snorkelling, we'll get back in our vehicle and head towards Anse Dufour beach, which is within a secluded cove just 2 kilometres away. -At last, we'll return to our starting point.
