We highly recommend the Mt. Fuji Highlight Full Day Tour for Cruise Traveler by Private Car!! Our new friend and personal tour guide Yumiko took time to visit with us ahead of time via email to determine our interests and to create a custom itinerary for us. Everything ran smoothly according to the schedule, and we had a wonderful day making a complete 360-degree tour around Mt. Fuji. The weather cooperated and we had spectacular views of Fuji-San all day long. Yumiko took time to teach us about the history and culture of the area and used our travel time wisely. Our day with Yumiko was one of the best days of our trip!

Our group of 8 had a great time with Yumiko. She was the most gracious, caring and informative guide we had on our tour in Asia. She greeted us at the Royal Caribbean marina port & despite the rainy weather & the inability to see Mt Fuji we had a thorough tour of the landmark around it including the Shiraito no Taki Waterfalls which was breathtaking. Mt Fuji heritage center was fascinating. Thank you Yumiko.

We had the best day in an around Mount Fuji!! our original plan was to go to a couple of shrines during our full filled day but, I told her we’ve seen enough shrines in the last three weeks that we could skip them this time we went to see the most beautiful ponds and beautiful area at the base of Mount Fuji. I can’t even describe it. we were on our way and looked up and we saw this giant roller coaster and I asked her what is that?? she told us that that was a theme park with the world’s largest roller coaster we were looking at so we said well. Can we detour and go there and so that’s what we did.!! my husband and my daughter will never forget, taking a detour and riding the world’s longest and fastest roller coaster!! we had an amazing lunch tried for the first time horse meet, and it was actually pretty good!! Thank you for such an amazing day!

We hand a positively wonderful day with Yomiko. She was great to work with in designing our one day tour. We saw all the sites that were on our list and plus some hidden gems. The day could not have gone more smoothly. We highly recommend Yomiko to anyone wanting to see the beautiful countryside around Mt. Fuji.

We stopped in Shimizu on a cruise. Our family of 3 was lucky enough to book Yumiko and a private driver. Yumiko was AMAZING! One of the best guides we had of our month long trip to Japan! She was very easy to understand, fun and described concepts better than many of the other guides we had on our trip. She even took advantage of our time in line at the ropeway with a Japanese language lesson and we did origami while in the car. There is not a lot to do at this port but we really enjoyed what we did with Yumiko. Cabs are not plentiful at the few tourists sites we visited. I recommend getting a driver for an efficient day.

My family had a fantastic day in Shimizu with Yumiko! We had great communication before the trip, planning the tour itinerary and pre-booking our taxi was an easy process. She found an excellent lunch spot in a Japanese house that could accommodate gluten free.
