Greeting from Japan. I am Hiroko, a national licensed tour guide. I live in Izunokuni-city, just 1. 5 hours from Tokyo, surrounded by beautiful seas , and with the land surrounding one truly amazing Mountain: Mt. Fuji. (actually I see Mt. Fuji from my window. ) I do guiding not only in this area, but also most of the places in Japan such as Tokyo, Nikoo, Kamakura, Hakone, Shizuoka (shimizu port), Takayama, Hida, kanazawa, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima, Himeji and so on for FIT, VIP and any group guests. I have traveled 38 countries, having lived in Perth, Australia and Barcelona Spain, which have helped to open my mind, understanding different cultures and ways of thinking. And I would like you to experience what you can see and do in Japan! Here in my area, you do unique cultural experiences: Japanese tea picking in a beautiful tea field overlooking Mt. Fuji, and after that you can enjoy Hot spring!!! Also I can take you to a deep into the mountains to visit natural "Wasabi field" and have lunch at Local sushi restaurant. For cruising guests, I organize 4-6 hours tours, visiting "Miho Pine grove", one of the sites of Mt. Fuji world heritage, Toshogu shrine, Ando Hiroshige museum (the world famous wood print artist), and even a trip to Lake Kawaguchi and Hakone (depending on the time permitted). It is my pleasure to make your trip happy, memorable and fun. So please do not hesitate to ask me . I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much. We had a great time. The tea ceremony was perfect. Thanks
We enjoyed a lovely tour with Hiroko from the Shimizu cruise port. In her friendly manner, she made our day stress-free, fun and we saw everything we hoped for and more! We were even able to do our own private tea ceremony (no big groups) and try our hand at making matcha in the traditional way with the tea master. Lunch was a delicious sushi bowl at the fish market and we tried other snacks along the way. Thank you Hiroko for a great shore excursion in Shimizu!
Hiroko is a wonderful guide. We had a shore day in Shimizu. She prepared a great itinerary which included the rope way gondola ride to the mountain shrine, a visit to the tea fields, a private tea ceremony, the wood cut museum, and lunch. We only wanted a five hour tour. She was excellent. At every stop, she fully explained the significance of each and every site. Her command of English is outstanding, as she studied abroad and is well travelled. She arranged for a perfect car and driver for the day which is required if one is to visit the spots. We highly recommend her.
This tour was conducted by Hiroko I. In an extended 4-hour package, she showed us places we would otherwise have missed. We got to experience and participate in things with local craftsmen which we thoroughly enjoyed. For example, we had a perfect view of Mt. Fuji from the gardens of a tea farm. We also produced our own pieces of art at a historical art museum. She is very proficient in English. Hiroko is knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, polite and cheerful. She was quick to answer our various questions to our complete satisfaction. She is an absolute joy to work with. She expertly coordinated transportation and tickets for our entire package. I would strongly recommend Hiroko for any tour a client might want conducted in her area, 5 stars (6 if you had them)
We had a great tour of Shimizu with Hiroko. We lucked out an had perfect weather, so had views of Mt Fuji. We started at a tea plantation and learned how tea is hand picked (most is done by machine). Then we took the ropeway (actually a gondola) to the beautiful Toshogu Shrine, then visited the Miho Pine Grove, and walked along the beach below for fantastic views of Mt Fuji. Hiroko then took us to a local restaurant for a delicious meal. We finished our trip with a tour of the Shimizu Fish Market.
We were very happy to meet Hiroko for our tour in Shizuoka. She made us feel like we were friends from a past life and treated us to a day filled with conversation & sharing travel stories together. We had to adjust our plans because of the rain, but Hiroko came prepared with alternate suggestions. We went to Shiraito Falls which was glorious in the rain, and also took the ropeway to Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, & she made sure we made it back in town before the kakigori shop closed, it was delicious & fun!
