Overview of your Shari tour
Kushiro Marshland National Park , the first national park created in Japan, is located near Kushiro in eastern Hokkaido, it is one of Japan's most beautiful and unspoiled national parks. It's the home of Red-crowned Cranes, once in the brick of extinction and also of winter Northern country wildlife like Ezo Shika deer, White tailed Eagle, Red foxes and the cute snow ball like long tailed tit (Shimaenaga) I especially enjoy doing this tour because, along with major spots where cranes gather, I will take you to some hidden spots very few people know, which makes this tour Unique! In winter in Kushiro the temperatures of February can be as low as -10°C Please wear season appropriate clothing, and shoes. ***Important Note of Tour Restrictions:*** Please contact me upfront regarding your size and shoe size.

4 of us spent a great day walking the wetland paths and a stop at the Ainu village. Frederic was great helping to set the day up to allow for the amateur photographers in our group, and we did find cranes even though we weren't in high season. His knowledge of the area history, culture and wildlife really added to our experience.

Frederic is superb. Front the start, he was able to design an itinerary according to my requests. Rain was forecasted on the day of my tour and he was able to reschedule my tour to the next day so that my family can have a wonderful time exploring the wonders of Akan and Mashu. During the tour, he when beyond the call of duty to make sure we get to see and do what we wanted. If you need a guide, I would definitely recommend him. We enjoyed the day trip tremendously.
