Akan Mashu National Park , located near Abashiri in eastern Hokkaido, is one of Japan's most beautiful and unspoiled national parks. Kiyosato city is located at a 44 degrees latitude, at the same level of Milan , but the climate is extremely different. The temperatures of February can be as low as -20°C (-4°F) Please wear season appropriate clothing, and shoes. I especially enjoy doing this tour because we are snowshoeing in Kiyosato area, home of Shari Dake mountain, also know as Shiretoko Fuji. Heading to Sakura no Taki waterfall and Kaminoko Ike. My favorite part of this tour is when I take you to Kaminoko Ike, the cobalt blue holy lake, the place where you can feel the unique beauty of nature. ***Important Note of Tour Restrictions:*** Please contact me upfront regarding your size and shoe size.
