Hello, everyone!! My name is Yukihiro; call me "HERO. " I'm eager to introduce this unique country, Japan, to foreign guests!! I am qualified as an Okinawa Prefecture licensed Guide Interpreter. I retired from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force(JGSDF=Japanese Army) in March 2018. I have spent most of my career as an Army NCO(Non-commissioned officer). My job experiences are only in the military, but there are various specialties, so I didn't feel bored. I lived in many places all over Japan, such as Hokkaido for ten years, Chiba for 15 years, Okinawa for 15 years, and other sites. I am working as a tour guide in Okinawa and Nagasaki, Japan. I live in Okinawa and Nagasaki half and half, and work as an interpreter tour guide in both places. I am qualified as an Okinawa prefectural interpreter tour guide (English & Chinese) but don't cover a whole Japan area certification. So I am brushing my skill up to upgrade it for the whole of Japan area. Qualified & registered as an Okinawa Prefectural Licensed Guide Interpreter(English and Chinese) in 2018. Registered as an Okinawa KARATE Guide Interpreter by Okinawa local government in 2021. Qualified Domestic Tour Conductor in 2018. Completed Advanced rescue course by Okinawa fire department HQ in 2017. My guiding area only has poor public transportation available. But I will arrange a suitable size rental car or taxi for the transportation. The number of people I can guide is up to 8 adults due to the means of transportation.

This tour is for up to 4 pax, if you are 5 to 8 pax, please refer to for 5 to 8 pax one. The tour visits significant spots in and around Naha for 5 hours (Standard). The itinerary is flexible; it can be changed by coordination with the guide. The tour time is also changeable from 4 to 6 hours. My guiding fee is 40 USD hourly (up to 4 pax), so a 5-hour tour costs 40×5= 200 USD plus a Meet-up fee: 40 USD (Guide's transportation back and forth to the meeting place) and a rental car-related fees: 150 USD (including full-cover insurance, parking fee, and refueling), so the total guiding fee is 200+40+150 = 390 USD plus TBL service fee.

We had a great time with Hiro! He clearly communicated with us before the tour to confirm our meeting place & time so that everything went smoothly. We got to the first stop on Hiro’s itinerary and realized that my wife’s walking disability was going to be more of challenge at some of the sites than we had anticipated. Hiro was very flexible and quickly adapted the itinerary to eliminate the more strenuous stops, then added some easier stops including the Peace Memorial and the airport observation lookout area. He also drove us past the main shopping streets so we could experience them. We had a ball! We highly recommend Hiro for your tours in this area of Japan.
