Greetings from Japan! My name is Chiyoko, Nice to see you on line. Thanks for reading my profile! Since my childhood, I have been very unique and proactive in a way that is unusual Japanese. I went to the dock in Kobe and shouted out "What's your name?" to a boat in English that I had just learned, and someone answered back to me. I still vividly remember how moved I was at that moment. That's why I have always been interested in people from other countries. I think it would be a waste time to come all the way to Japan and if you go back home after just doing some run-of-the-mill sightseeing with crowded tourists. That's why I try to introduce places that are difficult for overseas visitors to visit alone. I also hope to take you to places that not many other guides have introduced you to, so that you can take home a unforgettable image of Japan. I also love to travel, so I try to be helpful to travelers coming to Japan as much as possible. I provide private guiding services in Western Japan. I can guarantee you an unique and wonderful, special experience. I try to meet the needs of each customer in a personalized manner according to their needs travelers can count on my services for their private tours. Also I try to keep my tour's quality, comfort and security. I look forward to showing you the most interesting places. It wasn't that long ago that I registered on Tour By Locals and started guiding. This is because my main job is interpreting. However, in 2025 alone, I have guided many people from the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Mexico, India, etc. I make it a point not to pressure the travelers I've guided into writing reviews. But each time I review something after my tour, I try to improve it for the next time, and I am always trying to do my best as a guide. Some people have also told me they would like me to guide them when they come to Japan, which is very encouraging. I inherently value meeting new people. In that sense, I truly enjoy my work as a guide and am deeply grateful for the opportunity to guide so many people. Thank you for reading to the end. I hope you have a wonderful trip to Japan.

Himeji Castle is famous as one of the best castles in Japan. But Himeji is more than just that! Further away from the castle, Shoshazan Engyo-ji Temple is the family temple of the generations of feudal lords who were lords of Himeji Castle, and is also a very famous mountain sacred site that houses Engyo-ji Temple, a Buddhist temple with 1,000 years of history. Different side of Japan, unlike the ancient capitals of Kyoto and Nara, there are plenty of things to see, including the temple grounds where Japanese traditions have been preserved, the views from the mountain, and the magnificent architecture and Buddhist statues on the mountain. This is also the location where the movie "The Last Samurai" was filmed. Let's walk on this sacred mountain!
