One-Day Kamakura Highlights Tour: Ancient Samurai Capital & Sacred Temples

Wow, Akio was great! He is kind, flexible and knowledgeable about everything....was a perfect match for our family of four (two adult children). We used him on our first full day in Tokyo with a private driver (who was also great!) and we accomplished exactly what we wanted to....got a good overview of Tokyo, saw a few "tourist" sites and also some sites off the beaten path. He worked to find a good lunch spot that would accommodate our vegan daughter. And on top of all of this, we learned so much about Tokyo history. And before he dropped us off, he reviewed some of the top spots we might want to visit for our remaining days in Tokyo. Very very good.

Akio is a consummate professional who generously shared his vast expertise and knowledge of Kamakura's history. He was responsive to our questions, particular interests, and walking pace. His warmth and friendliness made made us feel at home in a new city. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who is headed to Kamakura or other cities where he offers tours.

Akio was an excellent guide. We were able to get on an earlier train in Tokyo and Akio was at the train station ahead of our scheduled time. He is very knowledgeable and was considerate of needs--we have COPD so some of the walking took longer than expected and he found easier paths and got us taxis whenever needed Akio was able to give detailed information of whatever we were looking at. Akio's English was very understandable so we had no difficulties. We are highly recommending Akio as a guide for Kamakura
