Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Coco, and I come from Hiroshima. I have a deep connection to Hiroshima, as I was born and raised here. My parents and grandparents were actively involved in rebuilding this city after World War II. Their efforts have made me proud of this place, and I would be delighted to introduce it to you. I have been working as a guide for the past 6 years, initially as a volunteer and later as a professional guide. Meeting new people has always been a joy for me. When I'm not guiding, I enjoy cooking, dining out, and spending time with my dogs. I hold an official certificate for vegetables and fruits, which allows me to share information about Japanese food with you. During our tour, you can expect to see the beautiful sights of Hiroshima, indulge in delicious local cuisine, and engage in meaningful conversations with the locals. Walking through Miyajima Island, we'll explore historical shrines and temples while enjoying Hiroshima's local food and nature of the island.
This was our second tour with Coco and we had a fabulous time on Miyajima! Highly recommend spending at least one night (we stayed 2N), so you can see the island at a leisurely pace. Coco takes great photos, and puts a lot of effort into her guiding. Highly recommend booking with her!
This was by far our best tour so far in Japan. Miyajima is gorgeous and Coco was a delight! She knows her history and the great spots to visit and eat at! She was very sweet and great with the kids. We would definitely recommend her.

The itinerary would be readjusted according to the weather and the sea tide of the island. Most of dietary restrictions and preferences can be adjusted, please provide an overview of your travel plans in advance. Please note that some places may not be wheelchair accessible. However, we can make the necessary preparations in advance to accommodate your needs.

This is a walking tour, but we can choose public transportation or taxies according to your preference. Tourist buses are available and your JR pass covers the fee. Tram to the Miyajima island (270 yen) Local bus (220 yen) Cargo boat (2200yen) Starting from October 2023, a Miyajima visiting tax of 100 yen will be added to the ferry fare for each person.
