Itsukushima (or Miyajima) is one of the three scenic locations in Japan. It is a World Heritage island that has been worshiped as a sacred island since ancient times. In Miyajima you can find a unique culture created by a synthesis of Buddhism and Shintoism by combining the two religions. Only a one-hour journey from the busy Hiroshima downtown area, we can reach a small cozy Japanese town, where you will meet a unique history, culture, and nature. Wild deer always welcome you! The floating torii gate is a symbol of Hiroshima, that you cannot miss! We will visit the Itukushima Shrine and the great torii gate, the major attractions of Miyajima island in a half day.
Meet at JR Hiroshima Station, your central Hiroshima/Miyajima hotel, or your preferred place. Visit: - Itsukushima Shrine : Enjoy walking traditional Japanese wooden buildings that stand on water - Quick stop at other temples & shrines in Miyajima End the tour at JR Hiroshima Station, your hotel in Hiroshima or Miyajima, or your favorite place. *Please ask me about your expenses during the tour.
