Overview of your Miyajima tour

It is quite MOTTAINAI to go to the island only for a half-day trip; there are more places to see. We'll explore historical shrines and temples while enjoying Hiroshima's local food, ride a ropeway, and hike on trails to the top of the mountain on the island. The view from the top is breathtaking, with the beautiful inland sea and small islands. This tour is specifically designed for visitors looking for something special in Japan. Not sure I have been to a more beautiful place. Mountains rise up from the sea and clouds dot the skies, offering perfect photo opportunities. The temples and shrines offered hope for heath, happiness and success in this life or the next. We took a boat to the island and the ropeway part way up up and down as Coco shared her love for this walk are well as information about the culture and history. Her energy and joy was infectious. You will be missing something very special if you pass up this tour.

We were so thrilled to tour with Coco. I have never used Tours by Locals, but will definately do it again! Communication was prompt and excellent at booking and when the the trip was getting closer...(so I felt at ease prior to the trip). She was so friendly, flexible, informative and really went out of her way to show you the best of Miyajima. She certainly gauged what you wanted to do, but making sure that you saw the best highlights of Miyajima. We could not have asked for a better guide!!!

Coco was an excellent guide who took great care of us. Miyajima is a great deal of fun to explore and well worth doing so. Please spend a full day here as half-day is not enough.

Misen (1hour) +Back to the port (1hour) Including lunch and snack breaks Duration of 7to8 hours According to the weather and your interests and walking pace, we can be flexible with the itineraries and time scheduling up to 9 hours. The itinerary would be readjusted according to the weather. Most of dietary restrictions and preferences can be adjusted, please provide an overview of your travel plans in advance.
