The shores of the Okhotsk are the Southernmost point where the ocean freezes. Come enjoy winter in Abashiri. The tour features a Cruise on the famous icebreaker ship from Abashiri, and Snowshoeing to the shore to touch the drift ice ! RESTRICTIONS : Ice breaker ticket are sold out monthes ahead of the winter season. We MAY have to decline your booking if the tickets are sold out at the time of your request. Drift ice sightseeing icebreaking ship takes you for a safe and comfortable cruise amid the shocking brilliance whiteness of the ice that spreads South from the Amur river and let you observe marine wildlife and birds resting on the ice. Don't worry about troublesome booking of the cruise tickets, I will secure the booking in advance. After the cruise , in friendly, safe and caring atmosphere. I will take you to a hidden spot, for a snowshoeing trekking where you will actually touch the drift ice and discover frozen waterfalls, a unique spot that I only know. . .
Fredi was the most gracious and knowledgeable guide on this customozed tpur. Because all cruises were cancelled that day due to gale force winds, we msde the most of it eith a drive to Shiretoko Peninsula. Though missing the cruise as drift still far out to sea, at least i experienced older shorebound ice. Saw wildlife (eagles, deer, fox) and learned of their interdependence on the ice...Fredi provided much insight. I feel very fortunate - thank you Fredi!
Our tour guide-Frederic , he was a very knowledgeable and amazing guide who was able to bring us an incredible and wonderful experience for us. The places we went during the tour was very private and unique. We get to see all the stunning and beautiful scenery. Especially the location we visited for our meal. One of the greatest meal was we tasted the Hokkaido crab and deer meet burger. We will definitely come back again to look for Frederic for our next summer trip to the Hokkaido.

On se sent rapidement à l'aise et en confiance. Les autres tours proposés ont l'air également super et si nous revenons dans la région nous risquons fortement de le recontacter!
Fredi-san was a great tour guide. He helped us see the drift ice cruise which was a very unique experience. He also brought us to several nice places and sightseeing points around Abashiri and Lake Mashu area. He is a very good and safe driver especially during winter season. Overall, a 5 star experience with Fredi-san. Highly recommend!
