I’m Andrea — nature & hiking guide, forager, artist, architect and photographer. I was born in La Spezia and I’ve spent a third of my life traveling — on personal journeys, scientific expeditions as a photographer and assistant, and as a travel companion. My artistic work is rooted in analog photography, where I explore light, textures and the quiet details of the natural world. I’ve also worked in fashion portraiture and as a personal shopper for vintage clothing and interior pieces in Milan and Florence. These experiences taught me how to read people, atmospheres and style with precision and ease. When useful, I can bring professional equipment to create portraits, visual notes or small botanical compositions during the day. As a forager and long‑time explorer of these hills, I often integrate wild plants into the experience: a leaf to dry, a scent to remember, a small herb diary to take home. Sometimes we craft natural incense from local species — a simple, elegant way to carry the landscape with you. I’m comfortable with every kind of traveler — from relaxed visitors to high‑end clients. I adapt naturally, sometimes with a small change in clothing, sometimes simply through presence, discretion and attention. My style is calm, respectful and understated. Each outing is shaped around the person in front of me: scenic or introspective, slow or energetic, classic or off‑the‑beaten‑path. Beauty often hides in small details — a shift of light, a texture under your fingers, a story carried by a plant. My role is to help you notice them, and to create a moment that feels grounded, personal and truly yours. If you’re looking for a guide who blends practicality, culture and a touch of artistry, I’d be glad to explore this corner of the world with you.

Portofino is a fine jem along the Italian Riviera - the aim is to explore a part of this iconic coast, dedicating a day to the Italian taste for a "slow way of living". We will start our journey visiting Portofino, the narrow streets forming its historical center, continuing up to the lighthouse, through a narrow pedestrian way that is serving some of the most exclusive private properties in the area - it's a great way to grasp some of the best perspectives around. Then we will take a boat to the picturesque bay of San Fruttuoso, site of the medieval abbey - "Abbazia di San Fruttuoso". You might enjoy to have lunch at "Ristorante da Giovannni" - it's a traditional Italian restaurant, home-made style dishes, mostly fish but not only, as in the regional cuisine. And it spans over the bay, with its tiny beach - where it's also possible to rent some equipment (sun umbrellas, deck chairs), in case you wanna relax or have a swim.
Meeting at 9 A.M. Visit of Portofino - approximately 70 min. Boat trip to San Fruttuoso - leaving Portofino at 10.30 A.M. - arriving at 11 A.M. _ by ferry boat Visit of the Abbey, the museum and the sourroundings - 60 min. Lunch at "Ristorante da Giovanni" - starting from 12.30 P.M. Free time at the beach Return to Portofino, by boat - leaving San Fruttuoso at 2.30 P.M. - arriving at 3.00 P.M. P.S. consider that there's an option every hour until 18.30, in case you wanna stay longer in San Fruttuoso
