Buongiorno from Genoa! My name is Sandra, thank you for visiting my profile! I am a professional guide working in Genoa, the Italian Riviera and surroundings. I have travelled in different countries for pleasure and work and in the end I fell in love with Liguria, what an unexpected land! I have been working since 2003, as a licensed Tourist Guide, in the city of Columbus and Pesto sauce. I have been living, in this tiny corner of Italy, squeezed between mountains and sea, for decades. Liguria is where I have found my happiness. I consider care in details, empathy, flexibility and a capacity for sharing, to be as valuable qualities for a guide, no less so than having a proper regularly updated cultural preparation. I want to be your host and share with you this beautiful territory. My skills and expertise have been refined over the years and my current activities include giving guided tours in Genova, the surrounding areas and the Italian Riviera. My hobbies include travel, cinema, environment, home style. Being me Italian I love high quality food and wine and being originally from Veneto, I love sparkling bubbling Prosecco! Your private tour takes you to discover the true ligurian life. We visit Santa Margherita Ligure, not only the "gate" to Portofino, a lovely village by the Tigullio Gulf, pleasant to be discovered in your private tour with a local guide. Afterwards we visit Camogli, the gem of the Paradise Gulf, standing at the other side of the Portofino Promontory. It is a line of pastel colored sea-front facades and green shutters, hanging fishing nets, brightly colored fishing boats, a sun-beaten promenade, a baroque parish church and marble Madonna's votive offering niches, shady cafes and traditional bakeries.
Great tour our Santa Margherita and Portofino by Sandra. She customized a tour to meet some of the limited mobility needs of our older travelers. She was a wealth of information about the area. It was one of the best tours we had and I'd highly recommend her.

•Visit of Santa Margherita one of the jewels of the Tigullio Gulf with its the colorful facades houses. •Baroque parish church of our Lady of the Rose (inside and outside visit - the inside visit will be depending on the opening hour of the church) •Visit of Camogli the jewel of the Paradise Gulf with its fishing port, parish church, castle. Please note : we move by train from a village to the other but the tour can be carried out by taxi or private car or minivan. Quotations on request. A boat ride from a village to the other one can be arranged and quoted on request. A different transportation will affect the duration of the tour. Pick up point can be quoted from Portofino pier, from Genoa's downtown or from other city too.
