Hello everyone, my name is Valeria; I'm 100% Italian, but I feel I’m a citizen of the world: our planet is so interesting and various, that I think it is a shame to set boundaries. This is one of the reasons why I work as an official local guide: I love to help you discover fascinating corners of Italy, rich in history, art, nature and good food, making you feel like at home. I chose to work as a tour guide for my passion; I’m always glad to welcome new guests and share my time and knowledge with them. We can talk about history, art, nature, or food and wine. As a local guide I like telling stories, but also meeting people with their culture and personal history: that’s what make my work even more interesting and pleasant. I was born in Mantua and after several experiences in other European and Italian cities, I decided to return to live in my hometown; Mantua still has a human scale, thanks to its slower pace and its “human” size. It will be a pleasure to welcome you here! Don’t hesitate and come to visit Mantova and its province; you’ll be amazed by the lotus flowers, the Renaissance palaces and a delicious plate of pumpkin ravioli (filled homemade pasta) paired with a good glass of Lambrusco (a tipical red wine of the aerea).

Step into the fascinating world of the Gonzaga family with a guided visit to the magnificent Ducal Palace, one of the largest royal residences in Italy. For nearly four centuries, this extraordinary complex was the political and cultural heart of the Gonzaga dynasty, whose patronage transformed Mantua into one of the greatest artistic centers of the Italian Renaissance. Admire masterpieces by Andrea Mantegna and Giulio Romano, along with beautiful frescoes, elegant courtyards, and richly decorated rooms that tell the story of a powerful ruling family. Beyond the palace, discover the timeless charm of Mantua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by three picturesque lakes. Stroll through Piazza Sordello, admire the Basilica of Saint Andrew, and explore the city's elegant streets, where medieval and Renaissance architecture blend into a unique atmosphere. This tour is the perfect introduction to the history, art, and beauty of one of Italy's most enchanting hidden gems.
