Hello everyone, my name is Valeria; I'm 100% Italian, but I feel I’m a citizen of the world: our planet is so interesting and various, that I think it is a shame to set boundaries. This is one of the reasons why I work as an official local guide: I love to help you discover fascinating corners of Italy, rich in history, art, nature and good food, making you feel like at home. I chose to work as a tour guide for my passion; I’m always glad to welcome new guests and share my time and knowledge with them. We can talk about history, art, nature, or food and wine. As a local guide I like telling stories, but also meeting people with their culture and personal history: that’s what make my work even more interesting and pleasant. I was born in Mantua and after several experiences in other European and Italian cities, I decided to return to live in my hometown; Mantua still has a human scale, thanks to its slower pace and its “human” size. It will be a pleasure to welcome you here! Don’t hesitate and come to visit Mantova and its province; you’ll be amazed by the lotus flowers, the Renaissance palaces and a delicious plate of pumpkin ravioli (filled homemade pasta) paired with a good glass of Lambrusco (a tipical red wine of the aerea).

Discover the artistic genius of Giulio Romano with a guided visit to Palazzo Te, one of the finest examples of Italian Mannerist architecture and one of Mantua's greatest treasures. Built as the summer residence of the Gonzaga family, the palace is a masterpiece where architecture, mythology, and illusion come together in spectacular harmony. Explore its magnificent frescoed rooms, each with its own unique theme and symbolism, including the breathtaking Chamber of the Giants, an immersive masterpiece that never fails to amaze visitors, and the charming Secret Garden with its elegant Grotto. Beyond the palace, discover the timeless beauty of Mantua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by three lakes. Known for its refined Renaissance architecture, elegant squares, and rich artistic heritage, Mantua offers a unique atmosphere where history and culture blend seamlessly. This tour is the perfect introduction to one of Italy's most fascinating hidden gems and the extraordinary legacy of the Gonzaga family.
