Sikkim is one of the state in the northeast part of India, before it was a separate kingdom (Country) ruled by Chogyal Dynasty from 1642 to 1975. Sikkim became part of India in the year 1975 and since then it has been offering its visitors breathtaking views of Himalayas , biodiversity, including alpine and subtropical climates and has been sharing its diverse culture and traditions of inhabitants (Nepali, Bhutia and Lepcha). In this tour we will be covering entire Sikkim State (North South East West District) , it's heritage, monuments and villages hike where one can interact with locals and get to know how's life in the Himalayas. Day 1 Drive from Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok or Pakyong airport to Gangtok (Capital of Sikkim ) Day 2 Gangtok City Sightseeing Day 3 Excursion to Changu lake , Baba Mandir and Nathula Border (India -Tibet Border ) Please note Foreign Nationals are not allowed to visit Nathula Border Day 4 Drive from Gangtok to Pelling enroute visit Char Dham and Samdruptshe . Day 5 Pelling Town sightseeing (Khecheoplari Lake , Rambi Waterfall , Pemayangtshe Monastery , Sky Walk and Rabdentshe Ruins (Second capital of Sikkim ) Day 6 Drive from Pelling to Lachen North Sikkim Day 7 Early morning Visit Gurudongmar Lake , Chopta Valley and later drive to Lachung Please note Foreign Nationals are not allowed to visit Gurudongmar Lake . Day 8 Excursion to Yumthang Valley and Yumesangdong and drive to Gangtok Day 9 Drive from Gangtok to Bagdogra airport or pakyong airport for onwards flight .
