Namaste! Tumcho Sogléak Yuvkar! (Greetings!) My name is Valentine and I am pleased to be your tour and travel guide in the beautiful West Indian state of Goa. As a native to Goa, I love everything about my land; her history, culture, heritage, cuisine, language and the flora and fauna of the natural environment. I am a very passionate Goan who relishes the Portuguese connection of the past and I'm always keen on sharing so many amazing stories of my states culture, cuisine and lifestyle when you visit here soon. I have done a course in Hospitality Management and after a few years working in the Middle East decided to return home and use my talents in various fields especially tourism. I have been a guide for 3 years and attained my Professional Tour guiding license in January 2019. I have catered to different people from all parts of the globe. I can work with children of all ages and types (from 0 to 121 years). I am passionate about tourism activities, love meeting new people and more importantly show a side of Goa that is beyond beaches and churches. I love my state and am always keen to share what is best in it to every traveler, anywhere from the world that decides to visit and learn something new about India. Allow me to take you on a fun walk through the capital city, Panjim (aka Panaji) where I will introduce you to local Goan cuisine that is not available anywhere else in India. Taste some slices of Bebinca, Dodol, Perad, Penagr and many more; while I explain the origins of these foods and local procedures in making them. Join me on a trail to the former capital city of Goa, Velha Goa which is still dubbed 'Rome of the East' and 'Lisboa of the East' during the heights of her glory. Walk through forests and natural surroundings as I present more untold stories of the land, people and local methods of farming, agriculture, cuisine and many more. Perhaps you have been to Goa in the past? Maybe you have only sat on the beach sipping a cocktail or gulping a beer? Or maybe even trying a shot of a local 'heritage' drink, Feni and Urrak? Join me on an exclusive trail where in I take you into local breweries and bakeries where food and drink that is native and exclusive to Goa is produced. Did you know that through trade and commerce of the past; Goa has a Jewish connection that has mysteriously been lost through the Inquisition? Join me as I present to you multiple private and group tours from 2 hours to as many days as you desire when you come visiting Goa. The means of transportation which I use during tours depends mainly on the type of tour and the size of the groups. The vehicle will always be air conditioned vehicle that has passed fitness tests and durable for all types of terrain. Vehicles for differently able and wheelchair users can also be arranged for short and long tours. When I'm not guiding I help change people's lives through transformation coaching and take part in various theatre and art classes as a stage actor. I am looking forward to seeing you all soon in Panjim, Goa as your tour guide! {In my capacity as an English language speaker, where I am the primary tour guide; I can make available interpreters of Spanish, French, German and Portuguese to translate during the tour} Certification in Conversational Portuguese through Instutado Camoes. Licensed Tour Guide, Tourism Department, State of Goa. Certified in First Aid and CPR by the Indian Red Cross, Panjim Chapter NONE

By religion & people, Goa was home to a sizeable Jewish population that was lost as soon as the Portuguese arrived here and any trace of their 'ever existence' in also a myth by the locals. I have deciphered codes and unlocked mysteries about this lost community that will blow your mind and even give a unique understanding of the Inquisition of the Roman Catholic Church. I will gladly share them with you when you come and join me in this tour! In the 2nd half of the tour we shall visit a local spice plantation where we shall learn the health benefits of local grown food and spices with a scrumptious lunch before proceeding back to the port. There isn't a specific dress code for this tour but since we will be outdoors, I would remind my guests to please wear comfortable & loose clothing with sun hats and sun glasses as we will be out just before noon. I will assist you throughout the tour & will ensure your safety. I can customize this tour for up-to 17 people at one time. Please contact me for a quote.
The tour will comprise visiting a few unique spots some of which are even UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
