My wife and I did 2 full-day tours with Kevin in early October of 2024. Both tours (Nuremberg and Rothenburg) were really excellent, and we highly recommend Kevin as your guide if you wish to gain a better understanding, both historical and cultural, of this part of Germany. Surely, gaining this kind of understanding is one of the reasons we choose to travel. Kevin has extensive knowledge of his chosen subject matter, and his ability to convey this to his audience is admirable. For our second full-day, we visited the town of Rothenburg. Again, Kevin taught us so much about this beautiful place, which, like Nuremberg, is so interesting historically and architecturally. Our full day tour from Nuernberg to Rothenburg was expanded by paying the guide an extra charge to add a visit to Dinklesbuhl where he had never been. Due to Covid-19, our tour guide Kevin had not given any recent tours and did not seem as well versed in the sights to be seen. Our guide was quite opinionated; we did not share our disagreement with his views (political). His van was clean and comfortable; he did not provide any handiwipes or bottled water. He would take pictures of us when asked.
Kevin gave us a fantastic tour today of Nürnberg - what a friendly, informative and interesting guy! He brought all the sights and sites to life for us. Cannot recommend him highly enough - even drove us to the airport afterwards to get our flight home. Book him!

Your Rothenburg tour itinerary
This tour will take you to all of the interesting, historical sites within the medieval city wall that are integral components of Rothenburg's rich history. Some of the sites we'll explore are * the Castle Gate and Castle Garden with its view of the Tauber Valley *Plönlein (Little Square) and Siebers Tower *the impressive Spital Bastion *the Handworker's House from 1270. After lunch (lunch is not included in the tour price) you'll have time to visit the Criminal Museum, take a walk along the top of the medieval city wall, or just shop and explore all of the alluring side streets and alleyways within this well preserved medieval town. My Rothenburg day tour is a leisurely, kid friendly, walking tour where YOU set the pace. Please don't forget to wear comfortable walking shoes.
