MY FAVORITE PLACES ARE: * Marienplatz (the heart of the Center with beautiful buildings) * Hofbräuhaus (the world famous beerhall with delicious food) * Feldherrenhalle (it has a sad history but looks amazing) * English garten (a huge park that's even bigger than Central Park) * Frauenkirche (an impressive churche which is the symbol of Munich) * St. Pete (the oldest building in Munich) Let me show you this stunning mix of vibrant city life, cool shops on the one hand and medieval buildings and traditional restaurants on the other. Explore the medieval city and the world's biggest fairground
Overview of your Munich tour
First we will explore the vibrant city with its beautiful medieval buildings, the sad Third Reich History and one of the biggest city castles in the world. Then we will head to the world's biggest fairground "Oktoberfest" with huge beer tents that look like real houses, hundreds of stand and many, many rides - from crazy to traditional. Let's grap a delicious snack (not included in the tour fee) at one of the stand. What do you prefer? Fresh roasted chicken, crunchy fries, a pork sandwich with mustard, sweet roasted nuts or chocolate fruits? Let me tell you all about the history that dates back to 1810 and show you the traditional, calm rides and also the wild ones! If you wanna ride something, of course I'll wait for you and we walk through one of the huge tents together (NOTE: If it's too crowded, tents will close - usually Friday after noon and Saturday all day. Then we will not be able to go into the tent. Don't forget to buy a gingerbred heart for your love :-)

Please note: This is a PRIVATE TOUR, so you can CHANGE AND ADD things! 1. Hotel Pick up (if centrally located) or we meet in the city 2. Walking tour (~3 hours) that includes * Hofbräuhaus * Old and New Cityhall * Marienplatz * Woman's Church * St. Mary's Statue (1636) * St. Pete's Church (1294) * Feldherrnhalle * Odeonsplatz * Hofgarten * Residenz (big city castle) * Viktualienmarkt (huge food market) * Stachus * Isartor (1636) * Oldest House of Munich (1264) 3. Subway ride (ticket not included) to Octoberfest 4. Tour at Octoberfest (1, 5 hours) 5. The Tour will end at Octoberfest, so that you can go into the tents and enjoy the entertaining party music, a beer or the good Bavarian food. *PLEASE NOTE:* Backpacks/ big bags are not allowed at the fairground. You could give them up for 5€ and a long wait in a line, so please leave them at home!

From the city center to Octoberfest (station "Theresienwiese") we will take a subway and you will also need it to get back. So I recommend to get a day pass. There are great deals for up to 5 people. I will tell you what tickets to get if you need help!
