Hello and Grüß Gott, I am Ulrich from Bavaria. Since 2010 I am guiding tours in Munich ordered and authorized by the townhall: CITY WALKs, BYCICLE and FOOD MARKET tours. I have a degree in business and worked as journalist and press relation manager. My first plan was to stay some years in Munich, as I could work in Bavarian broadcasting and television. And then go back to Nuremberg, my home town. 26 years have passed and I still love to be here. Since 2015 I have the official license as a tour guide at DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP. My customers are international travelers and school groups. By and by I became an expert in THIRD REICH TOURS and as well for EAGLES NEST, which is located in the Alpes Mountains and was finally Hitlers second power center after Berlin. I want to fill you with my own entusiam for Munich and the sourrounding areas. Explaining history and showing every day life I make you understand Bavarian culture. I will sculpt the tours according to your needs and interests as I am a passionate traveler myself. Travelling was my passion for many years. Half a year I studied in Spain, then I visited the most pitoresque sites in Europe and many places in Asia and America. My special interests are history, art and literature. In my free time I write crime novels and a Facebook blog about books. - studied business administration, Spanish, Theater and German literature - passed the examination as a Munich tour guide at Munich Walk Tours 2011 - got the license for Dachau memorial after 6 month training 2015 As it is not allowed in Germany to transport people in private cars without a license I cannot offer lifts to Dachau, Salzburg, Neuschwanstein Castle or Eagles Nest.

Overview of your Munich tour
We start in the inner city and move to the next located rental bike shop. Usually I have to make a reservation in advance. Now we pass the most beautiful places like Königsplatz, Odeonsplatz and Hofgarten. Cycling together through the city, we are soaking up the people and the atmosphere while listening to exciting stories. We see highlights such as the Hofbräuhaus, the National Theatre and the Residence. We take a breeze in Munich's green oases and talk about garden design. The northern route follows the English Garden to the north. then we see a new urban quarter, called Parkstadt Schwabing, we pass two Parks and enter the Olympic Games Park. We can have a stop at BMW-World Building and go to the peak of the highest hill in Munich. From here we have a tremendous view over the city into the Alpes. Now we cross a noble quarter called Nymphenburg and see Nymphenburg Castle. We can have a rest in Cafe Palmgarten or in a bakery before we go back to the Old City and return the bikes.

- I will meet you at your hotel if its located in the inner city, or at main square Marienplatz. - We will cover by our tour Odeonsplatz, Hofgarten, University Quarter, English Garden, Chinese Tower. - We have a rest in a beergarden, cross English Garden, Parkstadt Schabing, Petuelpark, Luitpoldpark, enter Olympiapark. - Passing the noble quarter Nymphenburg we arrive at Castle Nymphenburg. - After a second rest we cycle back to the Old Town.
