Alpine Ski Day in Garmisch-Partenkirchen Germany

This full-day excursion is perfect for anyone who loves winter sports! I pick you up at your hotel or guesthouse in Munich and bring you to the heart of the Bavarian Alps: Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Home of the 1936 Winter Olympics, Garmisch has every time of mountain terrain you can want. From beginner slopes to extreme downhill, you can find what you're looking for. This full-day excursion includes a stop at the local ski school so you can rent any equipment you might need. Then to the local mountain for a fun-filled day of powder and long valley runs. At 3:30 p. m. we meet at the local mountain hut for a few beverages before making our way down the hill to drop off rental equipment. Once you've "warmed up" enough I'll bring you to the local train station in Garmisch for a short one hour and twenty-five minute train ride back into the heart of Munich. The train ride is included in the cost of the tour and is an easy direct ride back into the city.

- 8:00 a. m. - pick up at your hotel in the city of Munich - 9:15 a. m. - stop at a local ski school for rental equipment - 9:45 a. m. - hit the slopes at either the Zugspitze Mountain or the Garmisch Classic - 15:30 - meet at local mountain hut for beverages - 16:30 - return rental equipment - 16:50 - drop off at Garmisch train station for return trip to Munich using regional direct train. Train ride is only one hour and twenty-five minutes to central Munich main train station
