Your Fssen tour itinerary
Duration: Approximately 5–6 hours. Your day begins with a personal pickup from your hotel in Füssen. We'll drive to Hohenschwangau, gateway to two of Bavaria's most iconic landmarks. We'll take a shuttle to Mary's Bridge (Marienbrücke) for stunning photos of Neuschwanstein framed by the Alps. (Note: in winter with snow, the shuttle doesn't run and the bridge is closed.) From there, a scenic walk leads to Neuschwanstein, the "Fairy Tale Castle." I'll share the story of King Ludwig II, the mysterious Swan King (castle entry is a fixed-time group tour per castle policy; I'm with you the rest of the day). A horse-drawn carriage brings us back to the village, where we'll visit Hohenschwangau Castle, Ludwig's childhood home, its preserved rooms rich with royal history. We'll then return to your hotel — an intimate, personalized journey through Bavaria's royal past.
