Private full-day tour to the Monasteries of Kyrenia Mountains

The Monastery of Sourp Magar is situated at a height of 510m above sea level on the northern slopes of the Kyrenia Mountains. It was a religious center for Armenians for many centuries and a stopover for Armenian pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem. At the beginning of the 20th-century thousands of Armenian refugees stayed on the island, and the Monastery opened its doors to the orphans and to those who were in need. What has happened after?
