1. Start in city center with a glimpse into Suanlafen (hot & sour noodles) and Xiaomian (Strett noodles) 2. Move on to local neighborhood for local stir-fried food (away from tourists) like chili chicken, double-cooked pork, etc where we see open kitchen where cooks dance with utensils and fire. Move on to backstreets for some dessert like Bingfen (icy plant-leaf jelly) and Lianggao (cold rice cake with brown sugar) to clease the oil in the system. *use caution when you try stir fried food. It is very intense in Chongqing, the opposite to what you expect in Cantonese cuisine.
