Chongqing can be a lot to take in for the newcomer, with so much to see while navigating both the horizontal AND the vertical. Chris was a great help pointing out the sites, making recommendations, and helping us establish our bearings. My family all appreciated his calm, accommodating manner. It is truly his hometown and it was a delight to hear the local stories during our visit.
This was my second tour with Chris, an outstanding "sherpa" to show you a local's view of this remarkable city. It's known as Mountain City for good reason -- lots of incline and decline. Since I have some trouble with stairs, Chris leant a helping hand, figuratively and literally. He is a personable, knowledgeable and helpful guide, easily earning each of the five stars.

Chongqing is a beautiful city, especially at night. Chris was very friendly and kind and knowledgeable of the city, much enjoyed!
Chris is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to guide. He is very flexible and adjust the itinerary according to what guest wanted. I enjoyed his companion and story throughout the trip. A walk through the old town mountain alleys provides a good insight on how the local live beyond the Instagrammable stuff.

No vehicle but public transport is advised at your expense. *You should take full responsibility of what you buy and how much you pay. I don't offer to do shopping unless you are insistent. Metro and Didi, mainly. If you feel tired at any point during the tour, we can grab a taxi or Didi (Uber), at your expense. Tourists with leg problems should take caution that urban Chongqing is hilly, so there will be many staircases and areas inaccessible by taxi. Install Didi or Alipay beforehand. Metro fare requires cash (I offer to pay for you, and we settle in the end)
