This tour will take us to a stunning valley area southeast of Santiago in the heart of Chile's central Andes called Maipo located at about two hours from city center and well-known among locals because of its wine and wild nature. High mountains, colorful natural sites, grape plantations, snow caps, rushing river are some of the highlights of this region that it stands out as a perfect gate away either for locals and tourists. Stop in San José de Maipo to stretch out a bit and show this lovely small town to catch the charm of countryside. From San José to waterfall which it takes about 40 minutes at over 2000 mts stop the car in order to trek to the base of this natural Andean source from where other views can be seen perfectly.
From the get go Juan Carlos made us feel comfortable and relaxed. His company was a pleasure and he spoke excellent English. The car was spacious and very clean. What a great guide! He was able to put together a custom tour that would accommodate our shortened time frame. He picked perfect wineries for us as well as a great local restaurant.
