Overview of your Puerto Williams tour
On this Journey we will paddle in the bays and inlets of Beagle Channel, places were aboriginals, nomad canoers that were unaware of political borders and used to navigate freely in the channels first, and English hydrological expeditions with Fitz Roy and Charles Darwin later. On this navigation we will feel close to the nature, paddling on this cool water with sea kayaks and all the safety equipment. Closer Birdwatching and if we are lucky, another marine wildlife.
Your Puerto Williams tour itinerary
- I pick you in the city center and we go close to the airport. - There we take a coffee while I prepare the equipment for you. - After showing you in a map where we are and give you a safety talk, we start paddling in a quiet inlet and later in the beautiful Puerto Williams bay, seeing into Punta Gusano (birdwatching), fishing port, and the landscape from a different side of the island. - When we finish (around 2 hours paddling) we enjoy a gourmet picnic in a relaxing time. - In the end, we come back by car to the city center or leave you at your hostel. The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences and interests.
