If you find yourself on Isla Navarino (and you should!) and are not doing a multi-day trek, then you need to go up Cerro Bandera. The trail, while uphill, is well-marked and manageable by most all. The views from the top both back across the Beagle Channel and forth towards the Dientes are spectacular.

Getting out on the water in the Beagle Channels and the bay near the seabirds is special. This effort is approachable by all, and remaining in the bay shelters ones from the winds and surf that can challenge paddlers. Having a guide to explain the birds and boats was a plus.
