Registered guide at SERNATUR (National Tourism Service of Chile). Degree in Environmental Analysis with a focus on environmental journalism since 1997. InterestsBirdwatching enthusiast, certified by the Ornithological Association of the Plata (1999). Completed courses on Animal Behavior and studied Italian at Dante Alighieri, San Miguel de Tucumán (2016). Volunteer ExperienceVolunteered at the GUIRA OGA Bird Sanctuary in Misiones and at Loitokitok School in Kenya. Guiding Experience: I’ve guided in renowned parks such as Torres del Paine and Vicente Pérez Rosales, among many other spectacular destinations. Memorable Adventures: I’ve had the privilege of summiting Mount Kilimanjaro and Toubkal, trekking the High Inca Trail in Peru, exploring the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, and my favorite, the W Trek in Torres del Paine. I’ve also participated in two-week horse riding expeditions between Chile and Argentina. Overview of your Puerto Montt tour
This day hike is a treasure combining a Wonderfull drive and a Wonderfull hike! Offered to people that enjoys walking in the forest while not really needing to make a big effort to reach beautiful places although is can be challenging in terms of balance and patience because of the type of terrain. These trails were used on old days to smuggler cattle between Chile and Argentina and is one of the most important trails used by the locals who live in the Valley all year round. The trail runs up the side of the Cochamó River sometimes losing site of the river itself but never the sound of the water cascading down huge waterfalls and gorges. As you get deeper and deeper in the valley, the granite walls grow larger and larger as you become encased in a beautiful, pristine forest that is full of towering alerce trees that can live up to 1, 000 years. Let's walk there! The drive to get here is a great opportunity to meet different landscapes on a fully new paved road.

Programe: •Pick up at 6. 30 from meeting point Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt. •Drive 1. 30 hs to the starting point of trek enjoying the spectacular winding road drive along Reloncavi Estuary. People with car sickness and vertigo should be prepared with the proper medicine. •Cross the Petrohue River Bridge by car. •Start the hike 3 hours hike with unique flora, and changing trails is time for lunch and rest. •Return to the car park. •1. 30 hs drive back to your resting place. The tour must end in Puerto Varas. The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences
